WPT World Championship $1,100 HORSE Gets Underway Tuesday

Following a hugely successful 8-game tournament that saw its $200,000 guarantee smashed and a great champion in Canada’s Mike Leah, the next mixed game event kicks off at 1 p.m. local time here at Wynn / Encore Las Vegas, the $1,100 HORSE Championship.

This event comes with a $100,000 guarantee which will also likely be easily surpassed as mixed-game players have flocked to the Wynn and Encore to play the WPT World Championship Festival’s mixed-game offerings.

With the Encore ballroom and poker area packed with activity from the opening flight of the $40,000,000 guaranteed WPT World Championship and Day 3 of the WPT Prime Championship, this event will be held in the Beethoven ballroom, upstairs in the corridor to the Encore ballroom.

Fifteen 40-minute levels are scheduled for Tuesday, with all survivors returning Wednesday at 1 p.m. to play to a winner. Players start with 30,000 chips and registration and re-entry are available until the start of Level 10 at approximately 8:30 p.m. following the 60-minute dinner break.
