WPT Venetian Begins Today at 11:10 am PST

Welcome to our live coverage of WPT at Venetian!

This is a $5,000 buy-in event with a guaranteed prizepool worth at least $1.5 million.

The last time this event was held (March, 2019, with a lower buy-in of $3,500), Ben Palmer outlasted a field of 734 players to win $431,655.

There will be two starting flights (today and tomorrow) beginning at 11:10 am. Players begin with 40,000 in chips, and the opening blinds will be 100-200 with a big blind ante of 200. Each starting flight will play 10 one-hour levels before stopping for the day around 10:45 pm. There will be a 45-minute dinner break after Level 6, around 5:40 pm.

Registration remains open with unlimited re-entries until the start of Level 9, around 8:40 pm.

Day 2:  Sun, March 7th, 11:00 am
Day 3:  Mon, March 8th, 12:00 noon
