WPT Global, the online poker arm of the World Poker Tour, is heating up this summer with a pair of festivals that offer a ton of action with big-time guarantees.
First up, running from July 12-21 is the WPT Global Preheat Festival. The Preheat Festival has $3,000,000 in guarantees over 10 days and multiple highlighted events.
The festival is anchored by a $220 buy-in, $300,000 guaranteed Championship event with more than a dozen starting flights. Running alongside the Championship event is a $22 buy-in Mini Championship that boasts an $80,000 guarantee. Just like the Championship event, the Mini has plenty of opportunities to get involved with over a dozen starting flights as well.
Both the Preheat Championship and the Mini are Best Stack Forward events, so players can take multiple shots to improve their stack size as they make their way to Day 2, which is played out on the final day of the series.
For those looking to play even higher, there is a $2,100 High Roller with a $200,000 guarantee and more than 160 everyday tournaments that cover the entire festival.
There are bonuses along the way as well. Every entry into the Preheat Fesitval earns that player points toward the WPT Global $250,000 Player of the Year Leaderboard and there are 20 events where players can earn tickets into the $30,000 guarantee Preheat Festival Freeroll.
The Preheat Festival is just the beginning, as just one week later the WPT Global Summer Festival will kick off. From July 28 through August 18, WPT Global offers nearly a month of red-hot tournaments and more than $7 million in guaranteed total prize pools.
