While the money that comes along with winning a World Poker Tour gets a lot of attention — and the $820,000 first-place prize just announced at the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic definitely deserves it — those skilled enough to battle through the tough fields at a WPT event have a few more prizes awaiting them when they win.

For the 10th Anniversary of the World Poker Tour, the WPT has introduced the WPT Champions Cup. Every past and future WPT Champion has their name, event and winning hand etched onto the silver plaques at the base of the Cup. The Cup travels to every WPT event and is displayed on the tournament floor and at the TV set for all to see. Every new WPT Champion will be permanently added to this prestigious list of poker players, much like Daniel Santoro at WPT Foxwoods in the above picture.

For their mantles at home, WPT Champions receive the WPT Champions Trophy, a smaller, customized version of the Cup with the event details and prize amount engraved on the base.

Last but not least for WPT Champions are the sterling silver Tiffany & Co.® WPT Champions Award and entrance into the prestigious WPT Champions Club, which offers all WPT champions exclusive benefits, a WPT personal concierge and VIP treatment at WPT events.

While the money sitting in piles on the final table of an WPT event gets all the attention, the WPT experience doesn’t just end there. See more photos of the Cup below:
