The Gioco Digitale WPT National San Remo festival kicks off on April 20 with various satellites, and play heats up on April 22 with the €200,000 guaranteed Main Event.
Before kicking off the action on Day 1B, players are welcomed to join Gioco Digitale and WPT for a Players Welcome Drink at 5 pm at the Astra Bar, next to the casino.
The city’s charm begins with Casino di San Remo, an early 1900’s building featuring exceptional heritage from the French architect Eugène Ferret. Walking around the harbor will lead to the Villa Nobel, an extraordinary house with colorful gardens retracing the history of the Nobel Prize. A few minutes away, the city center has many monuments which are worth exploring, such as La Pigna, Corso dell’Imperatrice, Piazza Bresca, and the Mike Bongiorno Statue.
For sporty participants, San Remo is the European capital for cyclists and it is highly recommended to visit the Pista Ciclabile Area 24. For players who want to snorkle, the Tre Ponti beach is the ideal spot to spend the afternoon. Additionally, San Remo has a nice golf course where you can play 18 with your friends.
