WPT Alpha8 features some of the most notable and interesting professional and amateur players in poker, all competing in super high-roller events with buy-ins of no less than $100,000. Not only does WPT Alpha8 give you tremendous insight into how these players handle the pressure of such high-stakes games at the table, but it also takes you behind the scenes and lets you see how these elite players spend their time away from the tables.
Take Jeff Gross, for example. A professional player with an impressive resume, including a third-place finish at Season XI’s WPT Montreal event, gross is probably better known for his antics off the felt, which earned him the nickname PBF (Professional Best Friend) from his cohorts, Antonio Esfandiari and Olympics champion, Michael Phelps.
