Ziegelbecker Returns to the WPT Tables

Mar 10, 2014

WPT_3428 The last time we saw Oswin Ziegelbecker at a World Poker Tour (WPT) event the young man took third at WPT Baden in Season XI for a $112,418 score.

He is back, and is the first to race out of the gates, on a table he is sharing with the dangerous Italian Andrea Dato.

The players seated in the cut off opens to 225, Andrea Dato calls in the cutoff and this brings Ziegelbecker into the action from the small blind. The flop is [Qd] [7d] [2s] and all three players check. The turn is the [5c], Ziegelbecker leads for 450 and both players fold.

Next we see Ziegelbecker open to 250 from the button, the player seated in the small blind three-bets to 750, Ziegelbecker four-bets to 2,200 and the small blind calls. The flop is [9s] [3d] [2c], the small blind checks, Ziegelbecker bets 2,600 and it’s good enough to win the pot.
