WPTDeepStacks Amsterdam Final Table is Set; Farukh Tach Leads

After 13 levels of play, the final table in the WPTDeepStacks Amsterdam Main Event is finalised, with Farukh Tach holding over a third of the chips in play nine-handed.

Tach eliminated the last four players on Day 2 to soar to the top of the chip counts with a stack of 2,308,000, well clear of Christos Economides (1,429,000) in second place and even further clear of Farid Chati (510,000) and the chasing pack.

114 players started Day 2, and just 32 places were paid. The unfortunate bubble boy was Mounir Kachrati who moved all in for 1.5 big blinds with queen-eight. Tach was on hand again to do the honours with nine-ten to river a pair and send Kachrati to the rail.

Notable players finishing inside the money included Dutch bracelet winner Marcel Vonk (26th – €2,570), defending champion Thijs Menco (23rd – €2,960) and Day 1a chip leader Fatih Aydin (19th – €3,760).

Tach put on an elimination masterclass as the clock tick passed 1am local time, with the remaining nine players returning tomorrow at 2pm local time guaranteed €7,475 in prize money.
