Wasek Cracks the Kings of Berende

As the players headed to the break, the Dutch player Paul Berende told us that his kings had been cracked by the pocket nines of Artur Wasek. Wasek opened to 2,100, Berende three-bet to 5,100, Wasek shoved for 45,000 and Berende called. The nine turned up somewhere on board and Berende was out of luck.
