Three More Familiar Faces Spotted

As time goes on more and more players enter the event and among those we’ve located some more familiar faces.

The number 15 on the Russian all-time money list, Alexander Lahkov, entered today’s event and we remember him from winning both the WPT Cyprus Main Event for $325,400 and the WPT National in Cyprus for $124,161. Besides that Lahkov also has a runner-up finish in WPT Prague and a win in the Cyprus Merit Fall Poker Open.

The Bulgarian poker community has come out in full force as EPT Deauville winner Ogynan Dimov sat down as well. This makes for four out of the top five on their all-time money list being in the Montesino poker room today.

Lastly we also spotted former football, soccer if you will, professional Sergej Barbarez. Barbarez, who was born in Mostar in Bosnia, played for six different professional clubs in the Germany Bundesliga. His longest stint was with Hamburger SV where he played 174 matches and scored 65 goals.
