Jad Sanhaji raises to 700 and Kalidou Sow comes along for the ride. Andris Resevskis (pictured above, next to Kalidou Sow) has other plans and three-bets to 2,600, which picks up calls from Guy Taylor in the blind and both other players.

The flop comes Heart 10Heart 7Spade 4 and action checks around to Resevskis, who bets 5,100. Once it was back on Taylor, he check-raises to 15,000 and that gets rid of Sanhaji and Sow. Resevskis moves all in for around 30,000 and Taylor calls with the slightly superior stack.

Andris Resevskis: Spade KDiamond K
Guv Taylor: Diamond 10Club 10

Resevskis needs one of the two remaining kings in the deck as Taylor has found the perfect flop with top set. However, both the Club 3 turn and the Diamond 8 river are blanks to eliminate Resevskis on the first bullet.

Taylor joins Ringo Stimac among the big stacks with more than two times the starting stack early into Day 1A in Marrakech.

Guy Taylor – 70,000
Kalidou Sow – 49,000
Andris Resevskis – Eliminated
