Staszko Folds the Second Nuts

Marton Staszko finished as the 2011 World Series of Poker Main Event runner-up where he outlasted all but one of the 6,865 entrants. In order to do that you have to make some big lay downs, one like he has just made now.

We walked past his table to see him folding [Ks][7s] on a four-flushed queen-high board after facing a river bet from the bluff-happy Gabriel Birlean – much to the astonishment of the table. Birlean showed the [Qh] but then said, “Because you are a good player I show you,” and turned over the [As] for the nut flush.
