WPT social media qualifier Nery Escalona from Argentina jumped into the action in level one on a recently opened table. He then unfortunately loses a big portion of his stack at the expense of Siddhanth Kripalani, who appears to be the early chip leader on Day 1a.

Several multi-way pots take place one of which involves Kripalani who bets the river for 3,000 into 4,000. It wins the pot as their opponent folds.
