Shooting Star John Phan vs. Steve "Chainsaw" Dempsey

After a flop of [AhJs4c], there is some betting action between Steve "Chainsaw" Dempsey (small blind) and Shooting Star John Phan (button), and then Dempsey moves all in for about 17,250. They compare chip stacks, and Phan barely covers Dempsey by 200 or so, so the $5,000 bounty is not at stake here.

While Phan tanks on the decision, Dempsey tells the table how he was in a similar situation last year against Shooting Star Daniel Negreanu, where they got it all in for more than 100,000 each, but Negreanu covered Dempsey by just a few chips — Dempsey crippled Negreanu but didn’t get the bounty.

Phan eventually folds, and Dempsey takes the pot.

One more note: Dempsey claims that he is the "Real Chainsaw," and deserves the nickname more than Allen Kessler, who just picked up the nickname in the last few years. Dempsey even goes so far as to bring a prop bloody chainsaw to the table with him.
