Every player who wins a WPT event earns a seat to the season-ending WPT World Championship. Here’s the full list of Season VII WPT winners in chronological order:

Bellagio’s Five-Diamond World Poker Classic  –  Chino Rheem
Biloxi Southern Poker Championship  –  Allen Carter
Commerce L.A. Poker Classic  –  Cornel Andrew Cimpan
WPT Celebrity Invitational  –  Freddy Deeb

Seven of those 13 players are playing in today’s field: Casper Hansen, Vivek Rajkumar, Elky Grospellier, Jonathan Little, Chino Rheem, Cornel Andrew Cimpan, and Vadim Trincher. We expect the rest to play tomorrow on Day 1b. (Players get to choose their starting day.) 

Tuan Le won the Foxwoods World Poker Finals back in Season III, and went on to win the WPT World Championship that year. Through six seasons, he is the only WPT winner to parlay his automatic entry in this event into a championship title.
