Scotty Nguyen Folds 10-10 to Steven Landfish for 11 Big Blinds

Steven Landfish moves all in from middle position for 226,000, and Scotty Nguyen asks for an exact count from the cutoff. Scotty thinks for about a minute before he picks up his cards to recheck them and folds. 

In rapid succession, Eric Hershler (button), Joe Elpayaa (small blind), and Jeremy Brown (big blind) all fold. Scotty raises up his arms in frustration, claiming he only folded because he didn’t want someone to wake up with a big hand behind him. 

Landfish tells them he had a small pair, and Scotty tells everyone he folded pocket tens. (I can vouch for that fact, because he held his cards up high enough to be seen from my angle before he folded.) At that point, the three guys who folded are the ones who are shocked, wondering why Scotty didn’t call considering he has about 2 million in chips.
