Sandro Mescola First Casualty of Main Event Day 1B

We are around halfway through the second level of the day on what has been a relatively quiet second flight of the WPTDeepStacks Portugal Main Event. However, there has still been action aplenty at all of the tables here in the room and we’ve just seen our first bust out.

Luis Fernandes raised to 400 from middle position with the blinds at 75/150. Sandro Mescola then three-bet all in for just 1,800. The small blind flat-called. With action back on Fernandes he four-bet to 6,500. The small blind thought about his decision before eventually open-folding .

The board ran out giving both players a full house but Fernandes’s was best, eliminating Mescola from the WPTDeepStacks Main Event.
