Ren Lin Pays off Porter Pierce

Porter Pierce opens preflop to 1,100 and gets three callers before Ren Lin puts in a hefty raise to 10,000, which only Porter calls. 

The flop comes out and Lin checks to Pierce, who bets 15,000. 

“Merry Christmas…” Lin announces as he calls the bet…”To ME!” he laughs as the turn peels the .

“I have the best hand, but I check,” Lin says, and then Pierce tosses out a bet of 20,000. Lin then sets out a large stack of chips but announces a call, which slightly confuses Pierce (and the rest of the table) and he turns over his hand, exposing . 

“It’s ok, it’s ok, I will pay him,” Lin states as he moves the last 4,500 of his chips into the middle on the river . 

After some more confusion, Pierce makes the call with his queens, and Lin tables for just a pair of jacks, losing the hand. 

“Maybe I have too much gamble problem,” he jokes as he heads to the rebuy desk while Pierce rakes in the sizeable pot.
