Racener Raising, Raskin Remaining

John Racener min-raises to 1,600 from middle position and gets a single caller in Micah Raskin in the big blind. The flop comes [10h][6s][4c], and Raskin check-calls a bet of 3,000 from Racener. The turn brings the [2s] and another check from Raskin. Racener quickly bets 8,000, and after some deliberation Raskin folds.

The next hand finds Racener again opening with a min-raise preflop, and again Raskin defends from the blinds with a call. Tom Sheets comes along from the big blind as well, and the three watch the flop come [Qs][Jd][10h]. All check. The turn is the [As] and this time when it checks to Racener he bets 2,500. Raskin calls and Sheets folds.

The river is the [Jh]. Raskin checks, Racener bets 4,000, and Raskin calls fairly quickly. Racener tables [3c][3d], but Raskin’s [Ac][2d] gives him the better two pair and the pot.
