Donald Maloney opens for 4,000 and Robert Mero moves all in for 9,400. Alexandre Nadeau-Levesque then four-bets to 25,000 from the big blind, and that’s enough to get Maloney to fold.

Nadeau-Levesque: Spade AClub A
Mero: Diamond ASpade K

Mero has run Big Slick smack dab into pocket aces, and he needs a miracle to stay alive. The Club 5Club 3Heart 10 flop doesn’t do much for him, but the Diamond J turn gives him some hope.

“Queen one time,” Mero requests. The dealer does not oblige and instead puts out the Heart 8, the last card Mero will see in the partypoker WPT Canadian Spring Championship.

Alexandre Nadeau-Levesque – 100,000 (50 bbs)
Robert Mero – Eliminated
