Polchlopek Gets There on the River

We join the action on a fairly innocuous looking [6h] [6d] [4s] flop as the dealer drags a pile of chips into the pot. From our vantage point it looks like Michael Polchlopek has check-raised to 1,600, from the small blind, after Atanas Gueorguiev had bet 400 from the cutoff.

The dealer produces the [Tc] on the turn and Polchlopek maintains his momentum with a 2,700 bet and Gueorguiev makes the call. 

The final card is the [5c] and Polchlopek takes a blue 5k chip from his stack and pushes it over the line. Gueorguiev calls in a heartbeat and then pauses in incredulity before mucking his hand at the sight of [8s] [7s] in Polchlopek’s hand.
