Pierrick Burban Doubles; Gets Four Hand Penalty

Sep 29, 2018

Pierrick Burban raises to 35,000 and Jimmy Livramento three-bets to 95,000 from one seat over in the cutoff. Burban gives it some thought and while doing so, he pushes his stack forward slightly without crossing the imaginery line towards the middle of the table. This is noticed by other players at the table and the floor is called.

Burban is explained that this move is considered as angle shooting to gain information in an unethical way and that he will likely receive a penalty for it. Half a minute passes and Burban moves all in for 220,000, Livramento snap-calls.
