After a flop of Spade JSpade 9Spade 6, Michael Sleiman checks the big blind, and Po Ho bets 40,000 from under the gun. Octavian Voegele raises UTG+1 to 150,000, and Sleiman check-reraises all in for 700,000.

Ho calls, and Voegele tanks for a while before he also calls. Any additional betting will create a side pot.

The turn card is the Diamond 7, and Ho quickly moves all in. Voegele thinks for a bit before he flashes X 9X 9 for a set of nines and folds.

Sleiman turns over Spade QSpade 3 for a queen-high flush, but he’s drawing dead against Ho’s Spade ASpade 5 for an ace-high flush.

The meaningless river card is the Spade 4, and Ho wins the pot with his higher flush to eliminate Sleiman in 29th place.

Po Ho  –  3,175,000  (127 bb)
Octavian Voegele  –  1,600,000  (64 bb)
Michael Sleiman – Eliminated in 29th Place  (AUD $19,880)
