Miami Boss Gets What He's Looking for on the River

May 2, 2016

Danny Suied, also known as the “Miami Boss,” opens for 7,000 from middle position and is met by a three-bet to 26,000 by Soren Turkewitsch on the button. Both blinds fold, Suied moved all in for 53,500, and Turkewitsch makes the call.

Suied: Spade ASpade 10
Turkewitsch: Heart JSpade J

Suied is in trouble, and things only get worse when the Club 6Spade QDiamond J flop gives Turkewitsch a set. The Diamond 8 turn means Suied needs a nine on the river to stay alive, and he gets it as the Spade 9 peels off.

Soren Turkewitsch – 140,000 (46.5 bbs)
Danny Suied – 110,000 (36.5 bbs)
