Meet WPT Anchor Lynn Gilmartin

Now entering her third season, WPT Anchor Lynn Gilmartin is the face of the World Poker Tour. But if you only know Lynn from her appearances on the show, you know very little about her.

Adorned with the nickname “LG: Life’s Good” as a teen, Lynn proudly adopted that as her motto and is passionate about sharing her life-loving message with the world. Anyone who follows her on Twitter (@LynnGilmartin) can attest to that.

Whether it was dancing, acting or filming television commercials as a child, Lynn always had an urge to perform. As she finished high school, Lynn became intrigued by business, going on to study public relations at RMIT and marketing at LaTrobe University, both in Melbourne, Australia. It was through her marketing career at her hometown casino that Lynn discovered poker and found herself back in front of the camera.

Born in Ireland and raised in Australia, Lynn traveled the world while immersing herself in the poker scene as a hobby player, respected reporter for PokerNews.com, and frequent host of the Aussie Millions and WSOP Asia-Pacific on ESPN Australia. Lynn has traveled through 27 countries, over 100 cities within them, and has plenty more to add to that impressive passport-stamp collection as the anchor of the World Poker Tour and WPT Alpha8.

Maintaining her eagerness to study, Lynn is a certified holistic health coach and continues to learn about nutrition and wellbeing.
