Margo Costa Doubles Thru Daniel Strelitz

Margo Costa finished third here in the WPT bestbet Jacksonville Fall Poker Scramble a year ago. She has been nursing a short stack today, and as the money bubble comes closer she just now was all in and at risk of missing the cash.

Following a Daniel Strelitz opening raise, Costa commits her last 55,000 or so with an all-in reraise and when the action gets back to Strelitz he calls.

Strelitz shows [Ad][9s] but Costa has [As][Ah]. The community cards come [2c][3s][8h][10h][3d], and Costa survives. She has about 115,000 now, while Strelitz has 145,000.
