Laurent Leclerc (pictured above) opened to 20,000 and Manuel Borges defended from the cutoff. The flop was Diamond JSpade QSpade 4 and Leclerc continued for half pot. Borges moved all in and Leclerc called.

The action was held as they waited for the hands at the other three tables to finish before the cards were turned over.

Leclerc had flopped a set, but Borges held a flush draw which would eliminate his opponent if he hit. And hit he did, with the Spade 8 coming on the turn giving him a flush and the Spade 9 sealing Leclerc’s fate as he bust in 28th place.

The remaining 27 players are all guaranteed €2,013, but they will all be looking towards the €55,010 and the €2,000 WPTDS European Championship package which awaits the winner.
