Lady Doesn't Like Ladies

Carla Solinas is our sole female entrant here at WPT Slovenia and she has just been let down by three ladies, queens that is, over on Table 7.

Fabio Lanzafame opened the betting with a raise to 250 from early position and the action folded around to Solinas, on the button, who called. Mustapha Kanit in the small blind called, as did Federico Petruzzelli in the big blind.

The flop came down [TdQsAc], both blinds checked, Lanzafame made a 250 continuation bet that only Solinas called. The dealer burned a card and put the [Qh] onto the felt. This slowed down Lazafame, who decided to check-call Solinas’ 450 bet.

The [Kc] mad an appearance on the river and Lanzafame now came out betting, this time 650 chips. Solinas did not look too happy about the river card and after 20 seconds or so she folded, revealing the [Qd] as she did so.
