Justin Levy Eliminated

Sep 18, 2010

A player raises in early position and Justin Levy moves all-in for around 6,500.  The players on the button calls and the initial raiser thinks.  While the initial raiser contemplates his options, Justin Levy stares at his opposition with the utmost seriousness.

Meanwhile, his brother Adam is more wrapped up with the music playing on the speakers than his brother’s fate.  He bops his head and quietly sings along to Ke$ha’s "Tik Tok."  Once the initial raiser folds and it is time to turn up the cards, Roothlus ceases his dance party and stands to cheer his brother on.

Justin Levy shows [AsQs] and his opponent shows [TcTh].

"Come on ace," Adam says quietly as the flop falls [Js9d6c].  The turn brings the [7c] and the river the [8h].  The player on the button rivers a straight and Justin Levy bids his table farewell and starts heading for the door.  As he walks by Adam, his big brother consoles him with one simple word:

"Geedge."

(For those unfamliar with the internet lingo, GG is a common abbreviation seen in the chatbox when a player busts.  It stands for "good game."  Levy is one of a number of online pros who have taken to sounding out the letters in GG rather than simply saying "good game," even when playing in a live arena.)
