Jules Hamidou was the chip leader after Day 1a last year but he cannot repeat the same feat as he loses two all-in showdowns in a row to bust.

He first three-bet-jams and Mattia Melideo calls all-in for 46,000 with the Spade AHeart A to see Hamidou turn over Diamond 8Heart 8 while the initial raiser is out of it. There is no upset on the Diamond KClub 2Spade 3Heart 2Club K runout and Melideo doubles.

Hamidou is down to 45,000 and jams the very next hand. Amiel Gamliel pushes over the top for 113,000 and John Kabbaj on the button asks for a count, then calls. The blinds fold and the cards are flipped over.

Jules Hamidou: Club AHeart 7
Amiel Gamliel: Diamond 8Heart 8
John Kabbaj: Diamond AHeart K

Kabbaj leads after the Club KHeart QHeart 5 flop but Gamliel spikes the Club 8 turn, the Heart 6| river is a formality.

Amiel Gamliel – 285,000 (48 bb)
Mattia Melideo – 110,000 (18 bb)
John Kabbaj – 100,000 (17 bb)
Jules Hamidou – Eliminated
