Joe Dwek Eliminated in 16th Place by Marc-Olivier Carpentier-Perrault

Marc-Olivier Carpentier-Perrault raises from middle position to 60,000, Trung Hien Nguyen calls from the hijack, and Joe Dwek calls all in from the button for 35,000. Defending champion Demo Kiriopoulos calls from the big blind.

There is now a main pot worth 185,000, and a three-way side pot worth 75,000.

The three live players check down to the river on a board of Diamond 9Diamond 8Heart 6Club JSpade 8, and Kiriopoulos bets 200,000. Carpentier-Perrault calls, and Nguyen folds.

For the side pot, Kiriopoulos shows Diamond KSpade 7 for king high, and Carpentier-Perrault turns over Heart 10Heart 8 to win the side pot with trip eights.

For the main pot, Dwek turns over Club 8Club 5 for trip eights, but Carpentier-Perrault’s ten kicker plays, allowing him to scoop the entire pot and eliminate Dwek in 16th place.
