Jerome Sgorrano Up to 600k with Thierry Gogniat Elimination

Jerome Sgorrano raised to 12,000 from the hijack and Thierry Gogniat three-bet to 28,000 from the cutoff. The remaining players folded and Sgorrano eyed his opponent’s stack before four-betting to 100,000.

Gogniat instantly moved all in for around 160,000 and Sgorrano called.

The board ran out with the Ace on the river causing Gogniat to curse out loud and get to his feet, before returning to shake Sgorrano’s hand.

Sgorrano is now up to 610,000 and vying for the chip lead. It could be a dangerous position with fellow big stack Sylvain Naets on his immediate right.
