Oct 26, 2012

Jerome Bradpiece

It’s all over! Dominik Nitsche is the WPT Emperors Palace Poker Classic Champion! Here is how the final hand went down.

Jerome Bradpiece raises to 160,000, Dominik Nitsche looks down at his cards and announces that he is all-in. Bradpiece has a quick check of his cards and makes the call.

Showdown

Nitsche: [Ac] [4c]
Bradpiece: [Jc] [Tc]

Nitsche gets to his feet and drops his hood, Bradpiece removes his sunglasses, perches them in the top of his t-shirt and folds his arms.

Flop: [7h] [6d] [5h]

Nitsche adds a straight draw to his list of possibilities.

Turn: [6c]

Bradpiece has a resigned look on his face; the face of Nitsche has not altered.

River: [7s]

We were staring at Nitsche when the final card hit and you could see he was elated.

"Yes," he says with clenched fists.

You got the feeling that he was trying to be reserved for the audience, but inwardly his guts were doing cartwheels. Bradpiece went over to be comforted by his partner; it is their anniversary today, and he deserves a round of applause for a fantastic performance. But there can only be one winner and that man is Dominik Nitsche, our latest WPT Champions Club member.
