With 66 players remaining and no more than 65 advancing to Day 2, there were three all-in-and-call situations at three different tables, in the first hand of Level 17, with blinds at 5,000-10,000 with a 10,000 ante.

The tournament staff waited until all of the other tables completed their action, and then ran the hands one after the other.

Ryan Hong raises, Lucas Tae jams, and Jason Anand joins all in. Hong folds.

Anand turns over Diamond ADiamond Q, and he needs to improve to stay alive against his opponent’s Spade KDiamond K.

The board comes Diamond 9Club 8Club 2Club QHeart 6, and Anand pairs his queen on the turn, but improves no further. The pocket kings hold up for his opponent to win the pot and eliminate Anand on the Money Bubble.
