Jaime Vilela Doubles Thru Hennie Appel

Nov 15, 2014

After a flop of [Qs10s3s], Jaime Vilela is all in under the gun with [QdQh] for a set of queens, and he’s up against Hennie Appel in middle position with [Qc10h] (two pair, queens and tens). Nick Sissou folds his [JcJh] face up to get out of the way.

Appel needs running tens to eliminate Vilela, or running spades to chop the pot, but the turn is the [3d], and the river is the [Ad]. Vilela wins the pot with a full house, queens full of threes, to more than double up in chips.
