Hulme’s Shove Goes Uncalled

Feb 21, 2013

Lukas Berglund is in late position and he opens with a raise to 1,800. To Berglund’s direct left is Harry Maurer and he three-bets to 3,200. Gennady Kalin is on the button and he cold-calls the three-bet only to see Andrew Hulme four-bet all-in from the big blind for 47,300.

Berglund releases his hand, as does Maurer but Kalin gives his options much more deliberation. After around 60-seconds he asks the dealer for a count of Hulme’s stack but he doesn’t like what he hears because his hand goes into the muck shortly after being informed of the bet size.
