High Roller Down to 10; Main Event Day 1A on Final Break

There are news from the 20,000 MAD High Roller as just 10 players remain. Former big stack “Jon” from Spain was recently eliminated after dominating the field with three tables remaining. He first doubled two players including Parham Ahoor, who then knocked out Jon with king-jack versus ace-nine. Ahoor flopped the flush draw and turned the fourth club to leave Jon drawing dead.

Muhyedine Fares then becomes the 11th place finisher. He calls an all in push out of the small blind with the Diamond KHeart Q and his opponent showed the dominating Diamond ASpade Q. The board runs out Diamond 9Club 8Heart 3Spade JHeart A and Fares heads to the payout desk. Still in contention are Marius Conan (chip leader with 1.4 million), Jean Montury (800,000) and Anas Tadini (400,000) – the blinds are currently 10,000/15,000/15,000 for an average of 627,500.

Day 1A of the Main Event is on the final break of the day with 83 players out of 161 entries remaining. The dominating chip leader after level nine is none other than Kalidou Sow with a massive stack of 200,000.
