Hands #71-72: Benjamin Zamani Out in 9th Place ($18,669)

Apr 29, 2013

Hand #71  –  Michael Linster min-raises from middle position to 60,000, David Bell reraises from the cutoff to 140,000, and Linster folds. Bell takes the pot.

Hand #72  –  Benjamin Zamani raises under the gun to 65,000, Michael Linster calls from middle position, and Pete Chwala calls from middle position. David Bell three-bets it from the hijack to 160,000, and Danny Schechter calls from the big blind. Zamani, Linster, and Chwala all call as well.

Five players see a flop of [6d5c4s], and Schechter bets out 225,000. Zamani moves all in for about 670,000, and Linster, Chwala, and Bell all fold.

Schechter calls with [6h6s] for top set. Zamani turns over [4d4h] for bottom set, and he’ll need quad fours or a running straight on the board to stay alive.

The turn is the [10h], the river is the [8d], and Danny Schechter wins the pot with his set of sixes to eliminate Benjamin Zamani in ninth place.

Danny Schechter  –  3,140,000  (104 bb)
Benjamin Zamani  –  Out in 9th Place  ($18,669)
