Hands #64-66: Price Gets a Few Back from Eriquezzo

Nov 18, 2013

Hand #64 – Matthew Oswalt raises to 60,000 from the small blind and Ryan Eriquezzo calls from the big blind. The flop comes [Ad][8c][4c], Oswalt bets 80,000, and Eriquezzo calls. The turn is the [7c] and both check.

The river brings the [10d] and another check from Oswalt. Eriquezzo bets 60,000 and Oswalt folds, and Eriquezzo shows one of his cards — the [As] — and collects the small pot.

Hand #65 – Randall Price open-raises all in for 210,000 from late position and gets one caller in Eriquezzo playing from the small blind. Price has [Kd][Qc] and needs help versus Eriquezzo’s [Ah][Kc], and the board provides such help as it comes [Qs][3c][2h][4d][10h] to pair Price’s queen.

Ryan Eriquezzo – 1,075,000 (36 bb)
Randall Price – 475,000 (16 bb)

Hand #66 – Jared Jaffee calls from the small blind and Blake Purvis checks from a seat over. The flop comes [Ad][Js][6d] and Purvis bets 25,000. Jaffee raises to 60,000 and Purvis calls. Both check the [3h] turn and [4h] river, and when Jaffee shows [As][2s] he wins the pot.
