Hands #6-8: Joep van den Bijgaart Extends Lead; Josef Gulas Makes Surprising Play

Hand #6: Joep van den Bijgaart raises to 200,000 on the cutoff with Diamond AHeart 10 and Christopher Puetz flats on the button with pocket Spade 7Diamond 7. On a Heart 9Diamond 4Spade 4 flop, van den Bijgaart continues for 165,000 and Puetz calls. The turn is a Heart Q and van den Bijgaart barrels a much bigger 525,000, which gets a snap fold.

Hand #7: van den Bijgaart raises 200,000 with Spade QClub 9 on the hijack and Farukh Tach defends his big blind with Club 10Diamond 8. It is a dry Diamond 3Spade 3Spade 5 flop and Tach check-folds to a 115,000 cbet.

Hand #8: Christopher Puetz bets 200,000 on the hijack with Spade 7Diamond 7 and it folds to Josef Gulas who flats with Spade JHeart J out of his 14bb stack.

The flop comes Club 5Heart ADiamond 5 and Puetz bets 125,000, which Gulas peels. On the Diamond A turn, Puets barrels 225,000 and Gulas minraises to 500,000 and Puetz finds a call.

The river is a Heart 4 and it goes check-check, with Gulas taking the pot with the better two pair.
