Hands #49-52: Abhinav Iyer Still Thriving Before the Break

Hand #49: Kiran Bondu opens to 400,000 on the button for Abhinav Iyer to call out of the big blind. They check all the way to the river on which Iyer checks once more. Bondu bets 500,000 and wins the pot without any resistance.

Hand #50: Bondu raises to 300,000 in the cutoff. Iyer bumps it up to 950,000 in the small blind and wins some of the previously lost chips back.

Hand #51: Amit Tejura makes it 300,000 to go and Sudheer Chowdary calls in the cutoff. Iyer jams for 5,600,000 on the button to force out both opponents.

Hand #52: Prasit Chowdhury min-raises out of the small blind and Siddharth Jolly gets out of the way.

Upon completion of the hand, the last seven finalists are heading into the first scheduled 15-minute break with Iyer now in the lead.
