Hands #4-8: Brad Owen Raises Alon Messica on the River

HAND #4 – Jikai Zhang raises to 250,000 on the button and Adam Cader calls in the big blind.

The flop comes and Cader check-folds to a bet of 150,000.

HAND #5 – Dan Stavila raises to 250,000 on the button and everyone folds.

HAND #6 – Brad Owen limps the small blind, Steven Marin moves all in for 2,700,000, and Owen folds.

HAND #7 – Alon Messica raises to 250,000 under the gun, Jikai Zhang three-bets to 700,000 in middle position, and Messica folds.

HAND #8 – Brad Owen raises to 250,000 in the cutoff and Alon Messica calls in the big blind.

The flop comes and action is checked to the turn. Owen then bets 200,000 and Messica calls.

The river is the ] and Messica bets 400,000. Owen then raises to 1,100,000 and Messica uses two time banks before folding.

Owen shows as he takes the pot. “That’s a man not afraid of the six,” Messica says.
