Hands #11-16: Toshihide Sawada Begins Trending Upward

Hand #11 – Chao Ting Cheng opens to 300,000 from middle position and takes down the pot.

Hand #12 – Toshihide Sawada raises to 300,000 with in the hijack, Yin Tao defends his big blind, and the flop falls. Sawada continues and Tao declines.

Hand #13 – Jian Guo Shu opens from under the gun to 350,000 and Vleriy Pak three-bets to 1,100,000 in the hijack. Shu folds.

Hand #14 – Tao opens the button with to 300,000, Cheng looks down at in the small blind and elects to three-bet to 850,000. Tao folds

Hand #15 – Pak raises to 425,000 with from under the gun and Sawada defends his big blind with .

The dealer spreads and Sawada checks his three nines to Pak who bets 425,000. Sawada calls and the turn lands.

Both check through to the river where Sawada fires in 800,000, Pak calls. Sawada shows his three nines and Pak chucks his aces into the muck, sending the pot to Sawada.
