In Hand #3 of hand-for-hand play on the Money Bubble, Kevin Hobbs raises from the hijack to 23,000, and Eric Leblond calls from the small blind.

The flop comes Spade JSpade 4Heart 4, Leblond checks, Hobbs bets 33,000, and Leblond check-raises all in for 208,000. Hobbs tanks for a very long time before he calls, and the two players wait for action to complete at all the other tables before showing their cards.

When the time comes, Leblond turns over Diamond 10Club 10 for two pair, tens and fours, but he needs to improve to stay alive against Hobbs’ Diamond KClub J (two pair, jacks and fours).

The turn card is the Club 8, the river card is the Club 6, and Hobbs wins the pot with his higher two pair to eliminate Leblond on the Money Bubble in 49th place. The pot also gives Hobbs the clear chip lead for Day 1G.
