Guillaume Darcourt Eliminated by Sandor Demjan

The poker life can seem a wonderful life, but sometimes it can also be a real bitch. Take our WPT Champions Club member, Guillaume Darcourt, as an example. He has spent a fortune flying to Venice, booking a hotel… hell, he even had to buy a new can of pink hairspray. He turns up on Day 1A and is out in the first few levels meaning he has to smash that piggy bank once more.

We caught up with him just moments ago and he winked when he said, "I am going to have a quiet day." Well that much is true, but it’s not going to be a quiet day at the tables after being eliminated in the second level.

We believe that Darcourt got the money in with pocket kings, only to see Sandor Demjan finding pocket aces. Five community cards later and Darcourt was out. Like we said… poker’s a bitch.
