Gilbert Diaz Eliminated in 9th Place (€6,130)

Gilbert Diaz raised to 45,000 from middle position. Omar Lakhdari three-bet to 130,000 from late position and Diaz called.

The flop was Heart 6Club 7Club 8 and Diaz checked. Lakhdari continued with a bet of 76,000, Diaz check-raised to 170,000, Lakhdari went all in and Diaz called it off for 577,000 total.

Diaz’ middle pair was in a world of hurt against Lakhdari’s set but he found some outs on the Diamond 7 turn.

“Yeah!”, Diaz yelled and he celebrated like he had won already. The table erupted in laughter as Diaz still needed more help to turn it around.

The river was the Spade 4 and now it was Lakhdari who cheered, imitating Diaz’ antics.
