Fortugno Laughs His Way To Victory

Gaetano Fortugno, seen in the above photo sporting the blue visor, has just discovered how to make people fold to your bets, make them laugh.

Fabio Scepi raised first in from the button and then called Fortugno’s three-bet before the dealer fanned out the [6h5c3h] flop. Fortugno bet out to the tune of 2,100 and Scepi made the call.

After burning a card the dealer placed the [3c] onto the turn, and Fortugno reacted by betting again, this time 6,500 but once again Scepi decided to call.

The pair saw the [9s] arrive on the river and Fortugno made sure he bet all available streets by placing 9,500 worth of chips over the betting line. Both Fortugno and Scepi entered some table talk but as I do not speak any Italian I can only assume it was light hearted as the majority of the table burst into laughter. Whatever was said it was enough to make Scepi fold his hand and Fortugno to voluntarily reveal his hand, [AdAh]
