Firsau and Wilf Do Battle

Vasili Firsau and Saar Wilf are having some fun knocking ten bells out of each other and here are the two latest pots between the pair.

Saar Wilf limps into the pot from the small blind and Vasili Firsau checks his option from the big blind. The flop is [9s] [7h] [6h], and Wilf check-rises to 800 after Firsau initially took a 300 stab at the pot – Firsau calls. The turn card is the [8d] and Firsau folds after Wilf bets 1,300.

Next we see Wilf open to 400 from the button and then call a small blind three-bet of 1,200 from Firsau. Firsau proceeds to pound all three-streets on [Ad] [As] [Qd] [Kh] [8s] (1,025, 1,750 & 5,600) and Saar calls all the way. It’s pocket kings for Firsau – for the boat – and Saar says, ‘nice,’ before sending his hand into the muck.
