DraftKings Qualifier Joey Weissman Gets Quads

WPT sponsor DraftKings.com is a daily fantasy sports site where players can compete against others for cash prizes, and this season they’ve been holding satellites for their fantasy sports players to win their seats into World Poker Tour events.

There are nine players who won their $3,500 seats into the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown and two are in the field today — Joey Weissman and Thomas Crowley. Both are still in and Weissman (pictured above) is above the 100,000 chip mark.

Weissman opens to 900 from middle position, Andrew Kelsall three-bets to 2,050 from the next seat over, and Weissman calls.

The flop falls Q53, both players check, and the 3 lands on the turn. Weissman bets 3,200, Kelsall calls, and the 3 river completes the board.

Weissman bets 7,600 and Kelsall tanks for a bit before he calls.

Weissman talbles 32 for quad threes, Kelsall mucks, and Weissman drags the pot.
