Decisions Growing in Importance as a New Contender Emerges

Following an early position raise to 12,000 by Alexandre Apryan and a call in the cutoff by Melih Ekmekcioglu, Darko Molorovich three-bets from the button to 60,000.

Apryan goes into the tank for about two minutes before finally opting to fold. Ekmekcioglu doesn’t take long before spiking in a call for approximately half of his stack.

On the flop, Ekmekcioglu checks, and Molorovich bets 75,000, covering Ekmekcioglu’s remaining 59,000.

Ekmekcioglu thinks briefly, but then tosses his cards into the muck as he loses half of his stack to a player emerging as a real threat here on Day 1A.
